  Procedure
The first step is to contact a notary in order to embody the formation of the company in an act of notarial deed.

Fees
Registration fees payable depend on the amount of share capital, though foreign companies pay lower registration fees.
Annual licence fees range from MUR 4000 to MUR 8000, depending on the
share capital.

Documents
The following documents need to be provided by foreign companies within a month after their establishment in Mauritius:
  • Authenticated copy of certificate of incorporation
  • Authenticated copy of memorandum of association and articles of constitution
  • List of directors with particulars
  • Memorandum stating the powers of local directors
  • Particulars of registered office in Mauritius
  • Declaration made by the authorised agents of the company
  • Names of two or more persons resident in Mauritius and authorised to accept on behalf of the company service of process and notices, submitted with a memorandum of appointment.
  • A balance sheet, profit and loss, and company's assets and liabilities have to be submitted within 3 months of its annual general meeting
