Welcome to GS1 Mauritius

GS1 Mauritius operates as an arm of the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 1994. Its mission is to lead the design and implementation of global standards in view of improving the supply and demand chain. Formerly known as EAN Mauritius, the goal of GS1 Mauritius is clearly aimed at the simplification of global commerce by connecting the flow of information with the flow of goods.

GS1 Mauritius is a Member Organisation of GS1, a not-for-profit organisation based in Brussels that develops global standards for the identification of goods and services.

GS1's standards foster cooperation and  encourage information-sharing worldwide.

Thanks to GS1, businesses and organisations can improve the efficiency of their supply and demand chains by adding useful information to any exchange of goods or services.

Today, GS1 has 104 member organisations representing all points in the supply chain, and over a million companies doing business across 140 countries.
