The Ministry of Agro Industry and Food Security has issued a communiqué to inform operators and the public in general that the online application for import permits and clearances at the National Plant Protection Office (NPPO) will become effective on Monday 1^st October 2018.

Applications for Plant Import Permit (PIP) and Certificates of Inspection (customs clearance) for the import and clearance of plants and plant products will need to be lodged through the MNS TradeNet Portal on: https://tradenetmns.mu
