Business updates

On 25 March 2020, the Bank of Mauritius engaged with domestic commercial banks to ensure continuity in the provision of banking services during the confinement period.  As a result, opening hours were shortened and banks maintained operations only in key branches in strategic locations of the island so that the public could avail itself of basic banking services.

The Bank of Mauritius is pleased to inform members of the public that, as from Saturday 16 May 2020 and until 1 June 2020, banks will be open to the public from Monday to Saturday, from 09:00 hrs to 15:30 hrs, in line with the General Notice No.577 of 2020 published in the Extraordinary Government Gazette No.50 of Monday 4 May 2020.

Members of the public should proceed to branches of banks in the following alphabetical order:
