The Ministry of Agro-Industry and Food Security has adopted some precautionary measures regarding the importation of fruit, vegetables and flowers from South Africa, with immediate effect. The aim being to reduce the risks of the new COVID-19 variant (B.1.1.529) reaching Mauritius through air transportation.
