The Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) held the second edition of its Tax Free Shopping (TFS) Event on 28 October 2025 at Hennessy Park Hotel. The event convened partners, operators, and stakeholders from the tourism and retail sectors to review programme developments and recognize sector performance.

MCCI Secretary General Dr Ramdenee delivered opening remarks, outlining the Tax Free Shopping initiative's role in positioning Mauritius as a competitive shopping destination for international visitors.

Senior Operations Manager Mr Anwar Kaidoo presented programme updates, including the launch of the TFS website and the enhanced Tax Free Shopping mobile application.

The presentation covered system improvements designed to increase scheme visibility and optimize the digital experience for both shoppers and participating operators. A video presentation documented key programme milestones and recent marketing activities.
