Business updates

H.E. Mr. Stefano Toscano, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to Mauritius, paid a courtesy visit to the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) on Friday 20 February 2026.

He was accompanied by Mr. Adrian Wehrli, Honorary Consul General of Switzerland to Mauritius, and Mrs. Haniella Razafindrabe, Officer in charge of Political, Economic, Social and Environmental Analysis. The delegation met with MCCI Secretary General, Dr. Drishtysingh Ramdenee.

The meeting was the opportunity to explore collaboration avenues between Mauritius and Switzerland economic, explore bilateral trade potential and strengthen private sector engagement.

Exchanges explored new prospects for investment, education, and the development of partnerships conducive to sustainable economic growth.
