IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 

ACCESS TO THE AIRPORT PREMISES IS NOW LIMITED TO THE OPERATING STAFF AND THE DEPARTING PASSENGERS.

 

TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS OF THE MAURITIUS – RODRIGUES ROUTE:

 

Following the outbreak of COVID-19, the Authorities have extended travel restrictions, currently in force, to the Rodrigues territory as from Sunday 22 March at 20H00 GMT (00H00 local time) until Sunday 05 April 20H00 GMT (00h00 local time). 

 

ARRIVING PASSENGERS

 

ONLY PASSENGERS WITH A SPECIAL AUTHORISATION ARE CURRENTLY ALLOWED ENTRY OR TRANSIT IN THE REPUBLIC OF MAURITIUS. 

DEPARTING PASSENGERS

 

Passengers should check with their airlines or the Embassy/High-Commission of their destination country for the latest travel advisory before their flights.

To all passengers leaving Mauritius in the coming days, ATOL informs you that some of the Airport's services are restricted: some shops and restaurants are closed.  Please take your precautions accordingly.

 

Exceptional sanitary measures have been taken for your safety.  Non-touch sanitizers have been placed throughout the airport.  All front liners wear masks and gloves.

It is essential that any person who has reason to suspect that he is a case or carrier of COVID-19, or had contact with a person who has contracted COVID-19, act in a responsible manner so as to not expose other persons to the risk of infection by the disease.
